Pre-marital Counseling
A wedding is more than a ceremony—it's the beginning of a lifelong journey together. My goal is not only to help create a meaningful and memorable wedding day, but also to equip couples with tools for a strong and healthy marriage.
As a Certified Prepare & Enrich Facilitator, I offer a four-session premarital counseling process designed to help couples deepen their relationship and prepare for the realities of married life. Together, we will explore key areas of your relationship and develop practical skills to help you thrive as a couple.

Your wedding ceremony should reflect your story, your values, and the unique relationship you share. Heather works closely with each couple to create a ceremony that feels authentic and personal—from selecting meaningful readings and Scripture passages to incorporating special traditions, family involvement, or symbolic elements that hold significance for you.
Whether you envision a faith-centered ceremony, something lighthearted and joyful, or a blend of tradition and creativity, you'll work together to craft an experience that feels uniquely yours. Personal stories, customized vows, special blessings, unity ceremonies, cultural traditions, favorite music, and meaningful touches can all be incorporated to create a celebration that your guests will remember and that truly represents who you are as a couple.

A Commitment Beyond the Wedding Day
Most wedding services end when the ceremony is over. Mine don't.
As part of my wedding package, couples receive a complimentary marriage check-in approximately six months to one year after their wedding. The transition from engagement to married life is exciting, but it can also bring unexpected challenges as routines, responsibilities, finances, family relationships, and future plans begin to take shape.
This follow-up session provides a safe and supportive space to celebrate what's going well, identify areas of growth, and strengthen the foundation you began building during premarital counseling. Together, we'll revisit communication patterns, conflict management, emotional connection, shared goals, and other aspects of your relationship that contribute to a thriving marriage.
Whether you simply need a tune-up, feel stuck in recurring disagreements, want to reconnect amid the demands of daily life, or are navigating parenting decisions together, this session offers practical tools and encouragement to help you grow closer rather than drift apart.
